"Yonder Star" is a delightful and classic luxury yacht, enabling you to spend the ultimate sailing holiday or vacation in Abel Tasman National Park or the Marlborough Sounds in the Northern part of the South Island of New Zealand, where you can enjoy either of two world class maritime parks as you let yourself relax and fall under her spell.

The boat's luxurious interior redesign, professional chef's galley, teak decks, polished brass, sumptuous fabrics and beautifully appointed guest cabins convey a sense of effortless warmth and sophistication, with ample room for lounging in your cabin, dining in the saloon or playing cards in the pilothouse.

Designed by renowned naval architect Don Brooke, the 87-foot ketch offers a refined blend of precision engineering and unsurpassed craftsmanship. The boat's interior re-design has made each space below deck fresh and inviting. Whether lounging in your cabin, dining in the saloon or playing cards in the pilothouse, you will find yourself in gracious surroundings.

Bed and bath linens are luxurious. Table settings and dining linens are likewise of the highest standard.

Yonder Star has three guest cabins providing comfort and luxury for 6 guests. The Master stateroom with ensuite is the largest and most sumptuously appointed cabin and is very private, at the stern end of the boat. The two other cabins have a double berth with an extra single berth also available. The main saloon is an inviting and spacious open-plan saloon, with a comfortable living area to port and dining suite to starboard. Our chef's professionally-equipped galley is tucked away from the saloon, easily accessible but unobtrusive. The light-filled pilothouse - Yonder Star's interior hub - serves as both a navigation station as well as a living and dining space. The cockpit area invites relaxed and open air dining. The deck area is spacious with lots of different places to enjoy the view.

We offer stunning 2 day one night, and 3 day 2 night fully guided packages providing you with an opportunity explore the art, culture and wines of Nelson, spend a night or two in the world renowned Abel Tasman National Park with it's mild and sunny climate, sweeping golden sand beaches, large tranquil tidal lagoons between forest covered headlands of coarse granite rock and backed by a beech forest covered hilly and mountainous backdrop on the edge of a turquoise sea – Abel Tasman National Park is a pocket of coastal paradise.

On the last day you can enjoy a scenic helicopter flight and walk through remote Kahurangi National Park with its diverse and rugged mountain and remote coastal landscape, New Zealand's second largest National Park, before returning to Nelson City.
